The revitalization project of The Mills was given the HKIP Awards 2015 by Hong Kong Institute of Planners, in recognition of its outstanding achievements in town planning.

About HKIP Awards

The Institute gives annual awards to its members in recognition of outstanding achievements in town planning. The main objectives of the HKIP Awards are to promote better understanding and application of the principles and practice of town planning and to encourage the pursuit of excellence, amongst planners in Hong Kong.The Institute also grants annual scholarships to outstanding planning students enrolled in degree programmes offered by the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the University of Hong Kong.
