Located in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong, The Mills holds a landmark conservation project integrating innovation, culture, and learning experience. The Mills is made of 3 pillars, The Mills Fabrica, The Mills Shopfloor, and The Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile (CHAT), which represent different aspects of the rich industrial history of Hong Kong, bearing witness to the city’s changes over the years.

To uphold our core values of inspiring creativity and the magic of possibility, we regularly arrange a variety of cultural events and art exhibitions for visitors to experience and explore the past, present, and possible future of the Mills. We host seasonal activities that are celebrated over Hong Kong and annual events exclusive to The Mills, such as our “WeWeave Carnival”, CHAT’s seasonal art fairs and exhibitions revolving around the themes of textile, with a range of sustainable and upcycling workshops offered by Fabrica X in The Mills Fabrica.

Our themes change regularly within textile history, local culture, the spirit of craftsmanship, innovative technology, sustainable living, and much more, to ensure that each visit will be exclusive for our guests. Our workshops and events cater to all age groups; whether you’re a student looking to explore or families looking to spend time together, we will have something for everyone. The Mills is also pet-friendly, and we welcome our guests to bring their pets to join in our events.
